چکیده

Wireless Wearables The cover associated with article 2100383 by Yonggang Huang, Debra E. Weese-Mayer, John A. Rogers, and co-workers, is a picture of an infant wearing pair soft, wireless, skininterfaced devices that provide continuous, clinical-grade, noninvasive monitoring various physiological waveforms. Relevant characteristics such waveforms can be used to infer key hemodynamic information, including blood pressure. These offer route for continuous tracking short- long-term trends, during periods pharmacological interventions.

A wireless wearable body sensor network for continuous noninvasive blood pressure monitoring using multiple parameters

Blood pressure is a significant vital sign; blood pressure monitoring has a great significance to determine the health status of parents. This paper proposes a continuous, non-invasive blood pressure monitoring system concept, which requires a minimum of calibrations. Using the changes in Pulse Transit Time (PTT) to derive changes in blood pressure is a new method to detect the continuous non-i...

Noninvasive blood pressure monitoring.

For more 20 years, noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP) monitors have been widely used in operating rooms and critical care units to closely monitor blood pressure in patients of all ages. Despite the widespread use of automated blood pressure monitors, clinicians continue to deliberate over the accuracy and reliability of automated NIBP devices compared to other methods of blood pressure determin...

A new noninvasive device for continuous arterial blood pressure monitoring in the superficial temporal artery.

Continuous recording of arterial blood pressure (ABP) has many applications in cardiovascular physiology, but existing alternatives rely on measurements performed in the fingers or radial artery. Peripheral recordings have significant differences from central ABP regarding the pattern of the waveform and corresponding systolic and diastolic values. To address the need for noninvasive measuremen...

A standard, noninvasive monitoring of hematocrit algorithm improves blood pressure control in pediatric hemodialysis patients.

Accurate dry weight assessment is difficult in pediatric hemodialysis patients but is essential to prevent chronic fluid overload, hypertension, and cardiovascular morbidity. A noninvasive monitoring (NIVM) of hematocrit-guided ultrafiltration algorithm was studied prospectively in 20 pediatric hemodialysis patients. The algorithm targeted the first 50% of total goal ultrafiltration to be remov...
